So we took a break from our DIY days of making our STD cards and went to Pasadena for some pinkberry and Akbar for dinner. Our main purpose was definitely a trip to Pinkberry this weekend so off we went to Old Town Pasadena. We've heard a lot of raves about them on theknot and Weddingbee so we decided to find the nearest Pinkberry.
We shared a large (Yes, a large!) of the original Pinkberry yogurt and topped it with fresh slices of ripe mangoes, lychees and cap n crunch cereal. It was very delish and satisfied our sweet tooth. It's definitely a must go again SOON.After some window shopping and walking around, I took my DIY "princess" for dinner at Akbar, an Indian restaurant in Old Town as a Thank you for all the work and creative ideas that she's helped us out with. We had some yummy Indian food for dinner like Chicken Tikka and Seekh Keba paired up with some saffron rice and garlic nan. WOW!! My husband to be and I went to Akbar last week and i told my sister how great the food was so we decided to go for dinner and it was really good since she loved it.
